Automatic Roaming

The ability of a serving network support roaming without requiring actions to be taken by the subscriber or the party calling the subscriber. In the most general implementation automatic roaming provides:

  • Timely identification of the current serving MSC
  • Automatic service qualification of the roaming MS, including credit validation, feature privileges, and feature control
  • Automatic call delivery to the roaming MS
