[edit] Proposal for Electing Officials to the position of CDG IRT Co-chair

Terry Yen and Masaaki Koga are to be commended for developing the International Roaming Team from a rag tag group in front of a white board into an organisation that is achieving definite advances in CDMA capability development.

We are entering a new era of the IRT in which we need to establish clear structure around the goals and operating principles of the group. As a maturing organisation I feel we need to have greater transparency in the operation of our group. I think this will lead to even greater involvement by emerging and absent network operators.

In an effort to define some of our operating principles I have put together some of my thoughts on the co-chair position (stealing others ideas where possible, thanks Kim) with a specific focus on how we elect officials for the CDG International Roaming Team.
