[edit] Good Faith Participation Policy

The goal of this working group is to facilitate the prevention of fraud in CDMA roaming. To achieve this goal, participants must feel free to express experiences, knowledge, and opinions on various fraud issues without fear of such participation being disclosed beyond the working group. Therefore, all members of this working group are expected to participate in good faith; any specific company experiences or information revealed in the working group, either directly or indirectly, shall be treated as confidential by working group participants and shall not be disclosed beyond the working group.

This team comprises both vendors and operators and is open to all financial members of CDG. The countries represented by participating companies include Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, China, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, and USA.

At the June 2006 CDG IRT meeting in Miami, it was decided to create a working group to focus on fraud issues. The initial request for participation in this working group was sent to both vendors and carriers on July 6th. The first conference call was held on August 10th.
